Update 7/6:

Courts Back to Phase 1

Phase 1 – in-person contact is inadvisable, court facilities are effectively closed to the public, and in-person proceedings are rare.

Update 4/28: 

The Florida Supreme Court has extended the suspension of jury trials through May 29, 2020 while the Orange County Clerk of Courts continues to limit in-person services in order to safeguard everyone during COVID-19.

Update From Orange County Clerk of Courts and Ninth Judicial Circuit:

In an ongoing effort to safeguard the health of the community, the Ninth Judicial Circuit is limiting access to the Orange County Courthouse starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020, through at least the end of business March 27, 2020. We will also be limiting access to all Clerk’s Office locations, including our branches, starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020, until at least the end of business on March 27, 2020. Only certain exceptions will have access. Please read our online coronavirus update for more details and the latest information. 

As the Ninth Circuit continues to navigate the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the courts, we want to assure you that the health, well-being, and safety of the community is our utmost priority. These are challenging times, and unprecedented measures are being taken across the nation to minimize risk and safeguard health. The Circuit has followed suit. During this crisis, no proceedings or court events other than those essential and critical to the state of emergency or the public health emergency are being conducted in-person at the courthouse.
